Mel Thompson will be at San Diego Comic Con:  7/24 - 7/25

Mel Thompson will be at the San Diego Comic Con Friday 7/24 and Saturday 7/25.  He'll be staying Friday night at the Hilton, downtown San Diego.

He will be in the Retailer Lounge Friday from roughly 10:30am to 5:00pm, and on Saturday from roughly opening time to 5:00pm.

If you want to schedule a meeting with Mel, call, click or write beforehand.

Mel will have the latest copy of ComTrac for Windows with him, as well as our new Store Analysis program.

The Store Analysis program is an updated version of a program which we originally developed more than fifteen years ago for the Capital City and Diamond retailer sales conferences.

The program uses a variety of information about your store and:

1.  Identifies strengths and weaknesses
2.  Ranks your store in terms of all comics/game stores
3.  Ranks your store in terms of comparable stores
4.  Estimates potential unrealized sales and profits

We are also working on an Internet version of this program, so that retailers can get access to this service easily.
